Hi,

I have a book ready to upload to Kindle. I converted my odt. manuscript into a Word.doc (Amazon requirements) and uploaded it. But when I previewed the result I was dismayed to find so many things wrong with it! There are big gaps in my lines, words are hyphenated and taken to the next line (not in my manuscript - as I HATE this!), positioning of my Chapter Headings are changed, etc. And my Table of Contents is in BLUE! Well, most of it. Some isn't ...?
I have published a Kindle book before, but that was 3 years ago, and I can't remember having any problems with that. HOW I did it, I don't know - and foolishly, I didn't make any notes. I've tried converting my manuscript to HMTL, but everything goes awry there too.What's going on?

Please help.
